Signs the council put up nowadays are just so ambiguous.

I, for one, have no idea what this sign is trying to tell us.

These guys are obviously in the same boat....

We followed through on a birthday gift for Claire's Dad this past weekend and did an 'Island Hopping' tour around Sydney harbour.

It was actually quite fun as I haven't visited any of the islands at all in the harbour I drive over most days!!

looking back at the city from a different angle is cool and there was some interesting stuff on each of the ones we went to.

A kick arse storm came over and we were stuck in a cave on Shark Island for a bit. All adding to the experience of the day.

Highly recommended.

But it's only on each October and last weekend was the last.

The weekend had some beautiful waves down this way. Offshore wind, albeit a little on the strong side, and some decent south swell...

Sunday dropped off a bit and the sun was strong and warm.

Summer's approaching with verve! Grab the sunscreen and the rashy...

Oh and the crowd repellant.

Every man and his dog from this end of the Eastern suburbs was in the water yesterday.

Nice place to be though.

Well, so much for extolling the virtues of shapers with years of experience.

The board I bought with such high expectations didn't really work the way I thought it would and I am back on old faithful...

I REALLY need to get the bay up...
